Before arriving team leader, Ray, wanted to have a soccer camp with the children. So we were told early on there was a soccer field nearby. This was true but it was out in the sun on a school campus where over 200 plus children attended daily. One of the gentlemen of the church shared it would be way too hot and way too many children, so Ray agreed to have his soccer camp on the lot next to the home being built under some huge mango trees. Ray used this word, "flexitive" during his soccer camp. Ray camp prepared to do different relays with the children with the soccer ball. The team members who were not working on the house helped Ray on the last two days. They broke the children up into teams and had two different activities going on at the same time. At the end of each activity of the day Ray gather the children around him with the help of Ronny our other translator to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. This was a beautiful sight to watch as Ray with the help of his team members sharing Jesus' love with the children.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
