Simply Talking

Throughout the week the team learned all about the culture of their new friends.  We enjoyed asking questions Maya had for us.  She was learning and quickly applying to her week.  She was always available to work wherever you needed her.  She was willing and able to serve.  As like others on her team they all wanted to know more than about building a home.  They wanted to know more about the people and how they live daily.  They wanted to feel and be apart of their experience this week.  One evening Kristine shared until she cut up the pig did she feel like she was in another culture or country.  She felt welcomed and loved by the people and the fellowship we all shared this week with each other just simply by talking one on one was a true gift from God.  They do not miss their technology.  It was actually refreshing to sit and actually talk to someone.  As I shared earlier some of these folks did not know each other but now they truly know each other because of conversation with one another on a daily basis.  Thank you God for this precious gift.

And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
