As Pastor G is putting the roof on and the team and Teodoro is putting the floor down, Emily and Karen are helping pluck and clean three chickens for lunch. Teodoro and Ingrid killed three of their chickens to provide a delicious chicken soup for the North Americans and all the Hondurans who helped build their homes. Ingrid and neighbors put yucca and potatoes and added tortillas to go with this most scrumptious lunch. God truly blessed us all in many ways this week by all the Honduran hospitality which came our way. The team gave of their time and money but Teodoro and Ingrid gave all they had to feed and show their gratitude towards the North American team. It reminds me of the woman in the bible who gave all she had. Do we give God all we have like Teodoro and Ingrid did with their three chickens? Thank you God for showing all of us how to give sacrificially from our hearts. Thank you Teodoro and Ingrid for giving us so much more than we could ever give you. God bless your dear sweet family.
"Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were being put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.
