What An Amazing Team

After we opened with prayer off they went to help get this house into a home. Tino pitched in all week to help mix the mortar for the home.  There are just so many small tasks needed to get done in order to just lay the first block.  First of all the unloading of the Kia truck so the team will have the materials they need for the next five days.  Boards are most important as this is where the team could go to refuel themselves with Gatorade or water.  This was a very hot location and the heat was excruciating as it bared down on our North American team.  But like I shared earlier they never complained about the heat as they endured it and pushed hard to get this home complete.  We are so blessed as God sends faithful servants here to help this people simply get a jump start in life.  The North Americans know coming in it is going to be very hot and hard work.  Yet they all keep coming back and for this Mike and I are forever grateful and we give God all the praise and honor for each family represented here this week.
Joel's devotional one evening was on the "Call of Moses"  Moses gave God so many excuses of why he could not go.  So if you are reading this today and you have not ever experienced what this team got to experience this week by say "Here am I send me."  Then here is a challenge for all of you to forget those excuses and come on down for a life changing experience which can only occur when you say yes to God and quit giving Him all the reasons why you can't.  Unless you come and smell, feel taste and hear all these obedient servants experienced this week you truly will not understand.  Joel used Ginger as an example of how I had so many excuses not to commit to full time ministry here 11 years ago.  Ginger praises God she finally was obedient to the most important calling of my life.  Ginger was definitely a Moses until God broke Ginger down and she said "Here am I send me."
