All good things must come to an end but before we dedicated this home Pastor Robert and Gregg walked over to the pulperia where there has been a group of young men hanging out all week watching from afar. They went over and prayed with them and shared the gospel with them.
As we all gathered once Carlos got home from school, to dedicate this home you could feel the presence of the Lord amongst us around this home on the little corner of this world. It was surrounded by family and friends waiting to see this house truly become a home.
Pastor Robert stepped up and shared from the gospel of Matthew 7 about the foundation of a home. He shared either your home is build on sand and will collapse or build on a rock and stand firm. This house today was built on a firm foundation, the Rock, who is Jesus Christ. In this world we either are building our lives on the sand or on the Rock, Jesus Christ. If you die today and do not know the Rock, Jesus Christ you will have eternal damnation. But if you live out your life with the Rock, Jesus Christ your eternal home will be with Jesus one day in Heaven. This is basically what Roberto said to all of us. He shared he was first grateful to God and then to all who are here today to help him make these blocks into a home. He said I will forever keep each of you in my heart until we meet again if not here in eternity with Jesus. Todd proceeded to thank everyone as well for helping this happen as he presented the family with their key to their home. He placed the bible in Roberto and said this book will be your foundation for your family as you live out your lives sharing your home with friends and family all around Las Pradas. At this time we gathered around the home as Mark closed us in praying over the home. Then we all headed to the front door to watch them open their new home with a glow of joy all over their faces. What a glorious week we had here in Las Pradas by being blessed beyond any words could describe from some of the sweetest and humble people. Thank you God for such a precious gift.
