VBS

There was a couple of days where the young people got to go and do VBS with the children, because they were such a huge group it was possible.  They did one just about "Children" of the world.  We colored a wheel of different children and then colored another one to connect them together.  We are all God's creation.  Once we become older it is our choice to become children of God by receiving His Son Jesus Christ.  It was just simply awesome to see the smiling faces as they got on the floor to color their pictures and the joy they found in doing very well.  The appreciation these little ones had for a coloring sheet and a craft to do was so humbling for all of us.  How the smallest of things could bring joy in the life of a Honduran child.  I did not say happiness I said joy, there is a huge different.  Happiness comes from the world, but true joy comes from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and joy cannot be touched by the human hand.  Joy is a commitment to Christ in our lives.  What a blessing when you find true joy and it is not in the "stuff" we have but in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and you will know it because such a peace will come over your life you will know it comes from God and God alone. I pray whoever is reading this today and for some reason or another you do not know about the joy of Jesus Christ, I pray you will seek and find it because we are not promised tomorrow.
