Lots of Families

John Scott and Christian have come two years together.  But Christian had something happen this summer prior to coming to Honduras, he accepted Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior.  So now this mission trip he will truly be building a home for a family in the name of Jesus.  This time his heart is doing for Jesus not for himself.  Christian was also our horse whisper with Titone.  The two gentlemen never worked side by side but did indirectly.  John Scott was in charge of mixing the mescal and Christian was one of the ones carrying the mescal for his team.  It was beautiful to see a father and son sharing in God's Kingdom work here in Honduras.

It brings me great joy to introduce Charity and her lovely daughter Abby.  Charity was able to come to Honduras a couple of years ago and fell in love with the country and the people.  Charity wanted this same experience for Abby.  They came together and indirectly served together as well.  Charity kept everyone in water and when she was out for a while, Abby took over to help her mother out with her job duty.  They made a great team and what a great experience for each of them to have to share for many years to come.  Thank you Abby for reading the scripture in worship on Sunday morning, Job well done.  Most definitely this is a gift from God to go on a mission trip to Honduras with your mother and your daughter team.  God is good.

Abby got doubled blessed as she had her best friend Allison to come with her as well.  Sometimes friends are family.  You always saw them working together in whatever task they were involved in.  They were together.  It is a blessing when you can find a friend who is true and loves you as these two ladies care for each other.  For years to come you can share your memories of Honduras together.

These two gentlemen have come to Honduras many many years together.  Justin this year came as a team member and not an interin.  God blessed his week by letting him be a part of his team and work along side his father, Pastor Brian.  I feel comfortable in saying this both of these gentlemen call Honduras their "happy place".  They so much as have a Honduran meal in their North American home at least once a week.  They love their Honduran coffee to the point they could be coffee snobs. They simply love Honduras with all their hearts.  They encourage others to enjoy the contentment nd joy you can only find here in Honduras through Jesus Christ.  They are our Honduras Advocates in so many ways.  Grateful you two can come together as family and share in so many memories together.

Mr. Ron was one happy grandfather this year.  His granddaughter Logan had been wanting to come for four years.  She finally got to be the right age and was able to come with her grandfather who is also a Honduran advocate for us.  He loves Honduras so much and Logan had heard your grandfather talk of Honduras every single year he came back.  She wanted to come too.  Logan is also fluent in Spanish as well.  She brought so much to her team with her energy level of a servant heart.  She enjoyed in sharing with Ron the memories he told her about.  She finally got to experience it for herself.  You two made a great team.

Welcome two brothers who share the same birthday, Scott and Justin.  We were so blessed to have them this year with this team.  They have amazing work ethics and love serving their Lord together.  They worked diligently on the rock crew and you saw them working together on the home.  They are two very amazing and godly young men who love their Lord and love serving Him in Honduras. We are forever grateful we got to serve beside you two this year.

These two young ladies are sisters who serve the Lord with gladness.  This year throughout many mission trips and prayers Taylor decided she wanted to go into the ministry.  I pray for you as you start this new journey of your life.  You will exemplify Christ in all you do because I have seen it down here in Honduras.  Hannah Kate you have a servant's heart and always put others ahead of yourself.  Your work ethics as well is one of a servant's heart.  You both worked beautifully together for the Kingdom of God.  Thank you for all you do ladies.  God has big plans for both of you.
