After the team gathered around and introduced and prayed up the first part of their morning everyone got busy finding out what they needed to do to help get that first block prayed over. Tino and John Dos took the heavy metal tool box and laid it under the shade of some trees near Juliette's water hole. Another story later in blog friends. Charlene, Josh, Charles and Kathy were watching as the four corners were going up. John, team leader and long time friend John Dos learned quickly how to assist Pastor Carlos in the laying of the other corners into place. Charlene was always finding something to do so here she comes with the 20 pound of mesca for making the tortillas daily for the Honduran workers. Every job is so important for some part of every day. John, team leader said he brought a small team but team with willing hearts and lots of prayers covering them daily. Each day during this project you could truly see prayers being answered for this small but powerful team of eight. God used them all in a mighty way and used their gifts to share Jesus Christ with a Catholic family.
Josh shared in his devotional the very first night how in Nehemiah they were to rebuild the wall. The people were not skilled workers but God was able to use them to do the work they were called to do. Josh shared he was not a builder but God has called him to Honduras to build a family a home. We need to make ourselves open to what God wants us to do and when we do we will do amazing things we never thought we could do.
