After lunch on Sunday Mike needed to pick up some from fruit from a roadside fruit stand. The team recognized the coconuts laying out on display. Mike asked would they like to have one. They said we would love to try to see what it taste likes. Mike bought three of them. The man at the produce stand gave three straws so the team could enjoy the coconut while riding home. Everyone enjoyed the cultural experience. Once upon our arrival at Mt. Horeb Pastor Matty wanted the meat out of the coconut. Mike got out the machete and handed it to Pastor Matty. The machete went down right in the middle of the coconut where it opened up to the best part of all the meat of the coconut. Pastor Matty took the opened coconuts up to the kitchen and chopped it up into bite size pieces to go along with our dinner that evening. It was quiet tasty and good for us too.
