"Let the little children come unto me"

Brennan up rising senior of the team finished his second year with us here.  One night during his devotion he reflected on the children.  His scripture reference was out of Luke 18:15-17.  We are a witness to the children.  We need to lead by example.  Our lives should reveal the very life of Jesus Christ.  As he and the rest learned throughout the week they learned alot from the children of Honduras.  When the children were singing at the church on Sunday out in the cow pasture they were singing from their hearts.  Do we get excited in church when we are worshiping God?  Do we show the enthusiasm these children did on Sunday out in the cow pasture? Sarah always attracts the children wherever she goes.  Her quiet spirit magnifies the little ones. Marah was able to speak the language so she and Kelby talked about the differences in each others country. Jackson made a friend named Daniel who welcomed Jackson into his home for a visit.  Daniel and Jackson were able to share bible stories they knew together with the help of one of our translators Egla.   Jason worked beside Henry all week long.  Jason learned Henry was 12 years old and does not go to school.  Once they finish the 6th grade unless their families can afford to send them on their education is finished.  Jason learned also what a hard worker Henry was.  When the children were blowing the bubbles Henry was steadily at work helping to build his friends a home.  On the last day after the house was complete I caught Henry blowing bubbles.  He was finally able to be a child for a little while.
While all the bubbles were being blown Rachel, Madison and Egla were next door sharing the gospel with neighbors who were not Christians.  They were able to share the plan of salvation with three  people.  They did not accept Christ that day but the seed was planted.  They now know and will be accountable one day for their decisions.  We never know the hour or the place when our time here is finished here on earth.  I hope those who are reading this know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.  Hopefully these three people will read God's word provided by Rachel, Madison and Egla.  Thank you ladies for taking the time to share Jesus with others.

"People were also bringing babies to Jesus to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this they rebuked them. But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you anyone who does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."
Luke 18:15-17

Then he said to them all, "Whoever wants to be my disciple, must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me."
Luke 9:23
