Youth are our future

The center picture of Brian's shirt says it all.  I Timothy 4:12 mentions we are never to young to serve the Lord.  We do not need to let others tell us just because we are teen-agers, pre-teens or even younger we are too young to serve our Lord and Savior.  This week  New Hope Baptist Church Youth group exemplified true Christian service in their words and their actions.  There was nothing each one of them did not try to do.  They all pitched in and worked as a team as they were working for Jesus Christ and not man.  There was some new friends this week, welcome to Marrah, Kaitlyn, Jackson"Braxton", Jason and Mrs. Pam.  The former team members helped teach them how to lay block, mix mescla and set up the cornerstones.  The entire week was a group effort.  So please do not let anyone tell you this job is too big for you.  This past week you each proved how awesome and powerful our God is because HE used each of you to glorify HIS kingdom here on earth.  These young people built relationships while building a home in which they will treasure their entire life time.  Thank you to all the young people who heard God's call and accepted HIS call to come and work beside these beautiful brothers and sisters in Christ.
Also thank you to Cameron Place who was the New Hope Baptist Church college intern for the summer.  She did alot behind the scenes and in the for front to help get the job done.

"Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set the example for the believers in speech, in love, in faith and in purity."
I Timothy 4:12
