Uncle and Nephew Team

 

We got excited when Joel ask if he could bring his nephew, Phillip to help with the move in team.  Phillip was able to come about three years ago.  We said of course bring him on.  It was beautiful seeing the two of them working side by side and separately all week serving the Lord.  Each of them shared God's word during devotion one evening.  Their love for the Lord has very deep roots.  Joel and Phillip's father were raised hearing God's word daily in the home.  What a beautiful testimony to have as part of your heritage.  As they shared I believe it was Phillip who shared give out of your heart.  When I am around others who are giving it is a blessing from God.  But all we should do we should do to glorify God our Father.  And on that note, his Uncle Joel talked about God being our  Father, Abba Father during his devotion.  Do you live in the law or live in God's grace?  Abundant life only comes from living in God's grace.  We do not need to strive to be good because we are heirs, heirs of the kingdom of God.  Joel challenged us all to move towards being heirs of God not ones who only obey the law.

 

So you are no longer a slave, but God's child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.
