Mt. Horeb's First Youth Retreat

The staff worked together to get ready for our first youth retreat.  These young people came from the Choluteca Baptist Association.  We purchased chips, water bags and we tried to get more ice cream.  But God had something better in store for these young people.  They got a very special treat, Chocolate Bananas.  At first one of our worker's wife provided the first batch but the ice cream man fell through, Manuel, Wuilmer and Aleixa came through with their very own Chocolate Bananas.  Everyone was working hard on this beautiful Saturday morning.  God had subsided his rain clouds for this special event.  Rudy ice up the water bags in a huge blue tub.  Mike hung the chips from a sting in the pulperia so the customers could see their choices.  Sodas were chilled in the fridge.  We were ready for our day ahead.  Wuilmer and I ran the pulperia.  I should say Wuilmer ran the pulperia.  I was somewhat good at making change for the customers.  We had a steady flow of paying customers all day.  Mike and I were suppose to go into town but I told Mike I was having too much fun running the pulperia with Wuilmer.

Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.  Psalm 100:2
