Unique Week

Longview Baptist Church asked back earlier this year could they work on the ministry campus with team number two.  We said of course this would be awesome.  Mike started working on the foundation for the Honduran Dorms early on.  We hired five extra Hondurans to come and dig out the foundation and have it ready for Longview's arrival.  The starting of this new project gave five extra gentlemen a job in order for them to be able to provide for their families.  Thank you God for this opportunity to further your kingdom here on earth spiritually and physically.
The first morning the team gathered on the front porch to pray over their breakfast and their day ahead.  They broke bread together as one big family not knowing what an amazing week lie ahead for all involved.
The five extra gentlemen started worked at seven so they had everything prepped for the North Americans upon arriving to the job site.  The Longview Baptist team came because they wanted to see this phase of the ministry up and running.  The main purpose of this ministry campus is for the Hondurans to have a place to come and worship with retreats for adults, youth and children.  The work dedicated this week will help us get closer to this goal.  We have already had several day women's conferences, one daily youth conference and another church wanted to have a day youth conference.  A neighboring association had a pastors' meeting here for the day early in the year.  So the word is getting out about Mt. Horeb.  Folks are getting excited about the potential the ministry campus will endure for the people here one day.

Remember the day you stood before the LORD your God at Horeb, when he said to me, "Assemble the people before me to hear my words so that they may learn to revere me as long as they live in the land and may teach them to their children."
Deuteronomy 4:10
