Time of Food and Fellowship

Each day we gathered together around the table to share about life's blessings.  They would teach us their language as we would teach them our language.  The North American got to eat many different foods and some very familiar foods.  A specialty this week was okra.  The ministry campus has a lot of okra coming off and the team got to enjoy some good old southern cooking.  They actually had a tomato sandwich with Crowder Peas one day for lunch.  These are just a few perks when you work on the ministry campus.  Team member Jake said this brought back child hood memories eating a good old tomato sandwich with Crowder Peas.  Each meal was always a surprise for our friends from Longview.  They fell in love with the chop suey  as Jake added okra to his dish.  We are always blessed as teams gather together to share in food and fellowship.  We are once again very blessed with a special group this week.

They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
Acts 2:42
