Fellowship, Food and Fun at the Multi Purpose Building and Pulperia

Mt Horeb has been blessed with amazing facilities on its campus.  The teams can walk out the door of the North American Dorm to cross the street to the pulperia to get a cold drink and play checkers with their friends.  Up the hill from the pulperia is the multi purpose building where they gather to play a tournament of corn hole.  After corn hole they are blessed with some delicious meals such as chop suey, chicken, rice and veggies, beans, rice, plantains and tortillas, enchiladas and pantalets.  This team enjoyed their Honduran cuisine each evening after a hard day at work.  Sunday morning the men got up and cooked bacon, sausage, grits and pancakes.  But the treat was on the last morning before flying out the next day the team with the help of Mike fixed balatas.  This is a well liked breakfast treat for all you come to Mt. Horeb.  The fellowship of the team was beautiful each evening as I sat on the porch watching the sunset.  I could hear stories being told of their day and laughter filling the room.  What a beautiful week of building relationships not only with the Hondurans but with fellow team members.  They took time with each other, listen to each others stories and prayed with each other if needed.

They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
Acts 2:42
