I suppose we could say this would be like a Baptist Men's Day breakfast proceeded by an amazing worship service. Mike and Joel went up the police check point where we have build a relationship with and fixed a pancake breakfast for the entire squad. Pastor Pedro who leads the weekly worship service arrived with his church family who comes along with him weekly to share the gospel with the police check point. The Chief asked a while back could Mike provide a devotional time for the police stationed at this location. We thought of Pastor Pedro immediately. Pastor Pedro has taken devotional time to a different level. They start each service with singing of hymns and bibles were provided for most of the police so they could follow along during the worship hour. Pastor Pedro shared how we are only God's child through receiving His Son Jesus Christ. Do you know for sure where you are going to when you die? He referenced out of Revelation and 2 Peter about we do not know what tomorrow may bring. Are you ready to die today? He asked them how old to you think you will live to be? There was several different answers, but one lady gave the correct answer "I do not know, only God knows how long I will live." She is so correct. Only God knows our journey on this earth, this earth is not our home, our home is in eternity with our Father one day when He chooses to take us home. As Pastor Pedro shared are you ready? Do you know where you are going when you die? Tomorrow may be too late.
