After the roof went up and dedication was complete the team had lunch. They proceeded up to Pavana Baptist Church to be blessed beyond measure with some beautiful children. Meida opened the service up with songs and Tim accompanied her on the guitar. They sung Jesus Loves Me, Father Abraham and I Praise YOU LORD. Everyone enjoyed praising the Lord through music before leading into an awesome time of learning about David and Goliath. Team leader, Mark shared the story as he picked children from the audience to participate in his skit. Mark shared the entire story of David and Goliath from memory, most impressive. Mark did not read anything or had any notes. This story came from his heart. In turn in shared it with the children. At the end of his story he shared how we are like David if we are believers in Christ. We love serving Him but we also make mistakes along the way. But we have a forgiving God who loves and forgives us if we are HIS CHILDREN. The only way we can be HIS CHILDREN is to receive HIS SON JESUS CHRIST.

The men and Meida took the activities to the yard of the church where they broke up into six activities, sport activities. Soccer, Frisbees, Plastic baseball game, North American football and our all time favorite bubbles for a few of the little girls who stayed inside the church to enjoy them. There was a very limited area for this activity but this team adjusted and became flexible to the resources they were given. Thank you gentlemen for making about forty children very happy on this Saturday afternoon. What a special gift from God for each of them.
