Worship Service

We gathered for worship on Sunday morning after a week of working beside these young men.  The team of seven Mark, Tim, Terry, Pastor John, Brian, Hunter and Dexter worked hard all week on learning their song in Spanish to sing Sunday morning.  It was a beautiful time of worship as Meida stood beside Pastor Reneieri as he welcomed all of us to worship.  Ginger read the scripture for the morning out of Psalm 117.  Mike got up to introduce the team to the church members who did not know them personally.  The offering was taken up while the congregation sang once again "How Great Thou Art" and "Because He Lives" as they did at the home dedication.  When Aldofo got up and started singing it was the most humbling sight to hear such a powerful voice come out of such a humble young man. He sang as unto the Lord and not any one else was in the room.  Then our friend Walter got up and did the exact same thing.  It was humbling to see all these gifts and talents inside this church in Pavana. These guys cannot only mix mescal relentlessly they can praise their Lord even more relentlessly.  We can learn how to worship from our bothers and sisters in Honduras.  True worship is not the building you are sitting in it is where the Holy Spirit is present whether in a block building or under some mango trees during lunch.  True worship is when the Lord is in your presence.  Amen!
At this time worship was turned over to Pastor John where he shared his testimony first of all.  He did not always live his life as a follower of Jesus Christ.  He lived in the world for a long time until one day God revealed to him there is so much more out there for you if you would only follow ME.
God is always with us omnipresent. God is knows everything.  God is all forgiving in all that we do if we as Christians will only go to HIM and put it at the foot of the cross..
Who does God say we are?  We are Gods creation.  It is our choice to become children of God by receiving HIS SON JESUS CHRIST.
We all bear God's image, we are priceless in HIS eyes.  We are the number one of HIS creation. We are dominion over the entire creation.  In Ephesians 1:3-14 it says we are His adopted children.  I did not know my own Father, but then I was given a Heavenly Father who surpasses it all.  What a gift to have an eternal Father.  We are royalty by the blood of Christ.  We never need to pretend to be somebody else, just be a Child of  God and He will care for us and all we need on a daily basis.
When we do this we need to be in HIs Word, pray and build a personal relationship with HIM each and every day.  I pray today if you do not have this greatest gift called Jesus in your life, today will be your day.
AMEN.
