Widow's Mite

The team continued building relationships with their new friends.  Pastor John has a knack for the children and they seem to gravitate to him.  He worked along side Pastor Renieri's children cleaning the doors of the home while the rood was going up.  Once the roof went up the team sat for a while and fellowshipped with one another.  If you can see in the picture of Rodolfo and Solina they seem to be having an intense conversation and it wasn't until I started writing and grouping this blog did I finally realize what they were discussing.  Meida had shared with me that afternoon she was struggling coming up with the money to buy the sweet bread and coke for their last time together.  Media shared the pulperia gave her some credit for what she could not pay so she could share her all with the North Americans one last time.  She had spoiled them all week with sweet  bread and coffee or coke.  She always did it with a huge smile on her sweet face.  The team discussed this during God moments that night once I shared what Meida had told me.  Brian shared how she gave the widow's mite and we gave very little.  This is so true.  Pastor John shared how they had given from their abundance and she gave from all she had.  Another humbling moment for all of us this week.
