After the emotional dedication over the bathrooms we had to refocus and get back on the project we can to do to start with, the cottage for the police chief. Everyone kept pushing hard to try to finish this project. Jacob, Bob and Ginger sifting sand. Others delivering the mescal to Pastor Paul, Pastor Carlos, Mike, Derek and Honduran staff. Everyone was doing and giving all they had in them. The police even bumped up their help as well. Layers upon layers of blocks going up the gable going in and mescal being mixed. Poor Fernando could not keep up with the pass of the labor load going on around him. Finally Yobani came off the wall to help Fernando mix the mescal. God always sends us what we need when we need it even in mixing mescal. Thank you God for your mighty power and provision as we needed this day. It was beautiful how it all came together with a lot of unity on everyone's part.
Bob shared in his devotional one evening what do we need to do to follow Jesus, to be Jesus' disciples and the cost of following Jesus. How back home would we see this taking place in our daily lives? How others came together to get this task done for the Lord. What would Jesus do? Jesus would do exactly what Yobani did he saw a desperate need by a friend and he came down and went to help Fernando do his job to completion. Do we see a need around us or are we too busy within ourselves to see if someone else may need a hand? What a wonderful bible lesson from a non Christian named Yobani for us who live our lives daily as believers in Jesus Christ. So as Christians we need to do daily what Jesus would do. Go make disciples, what cost are you taking to follow Jesus and our we truly living our lives as Jesus did. Even Jesus went off alone to be with his Father to pray. How much time of our day to we give HIM, be still and know what He wants us to do for HIM. Jesus died for all so we could have eternal life so why can't we in return give HIM our whole being, our whole being folks to live out our lives as Jesus did.
