A Place Called Cedeno

The team traveled about forty five minutes down through some beautiful country side rolling in mountains on both sides of the roads.  They turned right to go a dirt road and turn left at the third dirt road to what would be a life changing experience.  They piled out of the Kia and bus to be greeted by huge beautiful smiles of the Salgodo family.  Juana, mother and grandmother to Darlyn, age 17, Carlito, age 10, Angie age 21 and her daughter, Juanita age 2 1/2 was grateful to God for sending her new found brothers and sisters in Christ from North Carolina to her community of Cedeno to help her make 800 blocks, 52 bags of cement, two doors and two windows become her home.  She was overwhelmed with gratitude and joy to God first and then to God for sending this team.  After introductions Pastor Hampton opened with prayer before starting their day.

There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
