Our Four Families

We want to thank Pastor Hampton and Andie for accepting the call to come to Honduras and serve the Lord together. They worked diligently and worked well together as father and daughter.  They were able to create some precious memories which they can share and remember for many years.  Pastor Hampton was humbled by the sense of family here.  How they love and take good care of each other.  There is also a sense of community as their neighbors and friends come together to help the Sandago family get their home.  Andie shared how she saw them full of joy daily, their hearts were overflowing with joy.  This is something we could take back home with us, joy, simple joy which only comes from God.  They both shared how they saw God all around them daily.  The presence of God was amongst us all week.  What a beautiful testimony in Christ Jesus.

Welcome Darrell, Amanda and their son, Dylan.  They came on board willing to serve wherever they were needed.  Their enthusiasm for Jesus Christ was contagious.  Amanda learned how to make tortillas and mix mescal all in the same day.  Darrell was available wherever Mike needed him.  He enjoyed helping cook breakfast several mornings.  He enjoyed visiting the pulperia daily just relax and chill.  Enjoying good old fashion fellowship.  Dylan, 17 year old worked hard all week carry the heavy stuff, for instance the rocks from one pile to another on the last day when the house had been completed.  He continued serving until he drove away and said good-bye.  This family has a servants' hearts and thank you for sharing your love for Christ with us this week.

Welcome Pastor Tom and his wife, Kay.  They have done many mission trips in their life together but Kay shared this is the hottest one ever.  Pastor Tom shared how on Sunday a year ago he preached in a Spanish church in New York as he was doing on Sunday in Honduras.  Kay helped lead the VBS and she led the music in church on Sunday.  Christian music is Kay's gift and she enjoys singing of his praises. They helped us during God moments several nights learn "God is so Good" in spanish to sing on Sunday morning.  Thank you Pastor Tom for her willingness to bring the message on Sunday.  Thank you for your servants' hearts and sharing it with us in Honduras.

We were blessed this week to have our boss, Mark and his son, Aaron to join us.  Mark comes down once a year to visit Honduras and enjoy the culture of these  beautiful folks.  Aaron brought so much to this team this year.  His hard work ethics on the job site each day was greatly appreciated by the entire team.  There was one day when Mark was not workingfor NCBM he assisted Aaron on the block laying. They made an awesome twosome and we are blessed they were here this week.  Aaron feel free to come back anytime with your dad.

"As for me and my house we will serve the Lord."
