After the Women's Conference we headed back to the project while the men were waiting patiently for us ladies and Pastor Neal. The ladies from the Women's Conference and family members of Erlin and Evelyn joined us for the dedication. Pastor Joel and Pastor Saul, a friend of Erlin were there at the dedication service as well. There was a large crowd representing the love this home will share one day with others. We gathered around the home, the completed home where they will be safe and dry for many many years. Where the love of Jesus Christ will radiate from these four walls as Pastor Neal shared during his time. Pastor Joel shared as well his gratitude to everyone who was involved in this week for the family as well as for the church family. Danny approached and presented the family with their family Bible and thanked them for letting his church family come here and help them make a dream into a reality. All of our prayers have been answered. Co team leader Brad stepped forward and presented Erlin with the key. Sweet time was when Erlin turned and gave the key to their new home to his lovely wife, Evelyn. Brad did not know what to say at the time as everyone cheered and laughed at the occurring event. Brad got his composure and shared how this key will forever keep them safe and will allow this protection but their best protection comes from our Lord and Savior. At this time she unlocked the door before we could even pray over the house. She was so excited to have those keys to her new home. Emily and Allison's hammock will never be wet again. I believe I would be excited too. So we gathered them back to their front door as Pastor Neal closed with Psalm 128. He started the praying over the first block with Psalm 127 and he closed in Psalm 128. Everyone gathered at this time around the home as Pastor Neal prayed over the home.
