Mount Horeb donated three hens for the celebration meal before the home dedication. Pastor Carlos' wife Suyamada, his two daughters and his future daughter in law worked diligently all morning cooking the soup for over thirty people. What a love offering of gratitude for a week of hard work by our young people of New Hope Baptist Church and the medical clinic for their village of Cedeno. Everyone enjoyed time of fellowship, food and fun under the most cozy porch I have ever set under. There was a gentle breeze blowing at all times which brought coolness for a group of North Americans to go and rest and refuel for more brutal hot sun on the foundation of Manuel and Yeimi's home. This group was most appreciative for their bowl of chicken soup on their last day in Cedeno. There was some who started loading up and straightening up the job site before leading into the home dedication. Some were prepping for the home dedication to make sure everyone was on the same page. Thank you for giving your all Manuel and Yeimi, another lesson in giving sacrificially to others. Manuel works making $100 a week and this meal was provided by him as well as the cokes we drank all week on the job site. This is sacrificial giving folks in the most humble and godly way ever.
