Mike and I were blessed each day with our church family coming back from two very different projects and heading straight for the Mount Horeb Gift Shop, pulperia. They bought their Frescas and sat down to share about their day. This does our hearts good when teams come back from their day to come and greet us with phenomenal God moments. They were overflowing with stories after stories of what happened at the medical clinic and the construction team was full of stories of how they accomplished their goal for each day in making those 800 blocks into a beautiful home for Manuel and Yeimi. God is so good when He allows 13 young people to come down where it is extremely hot without access to technology and be so content to see on a porch and share about their day serving their Lord. This is something so many parents should be proud of in their children. These young people were so amazing all week long doing whatever needed to get done at whichever project they were working on and was ready to go back the next day to continue their tasks they were called to do this week in Honduras. Devotionals on the multi- purpose porch each evening where also amazing. These young people came down prepared to share God's Word with
everyone each evening. Before coming to Honduras they are expected to have a devotional and a testimony ready at a minutes notice. What great ground work for the future of these young people as they start the next journey of their lives, adulthood. I only wish I had this background when I was a young person facing life's challenges. So our porches at Mount Horeb share a lot of God moments from so many different folks all over the state of North Carolina, Virginia and Maryland. We are so blessed to have these porches as part of our ministry here in Honduras. Praise God for all things, even a porch to gather around and actually have adult conversations.
