Everyone fell in love with this little man. Jose lives behind where Manuel's home was being built. Jose's father is a pastor as well and obviously Jose has a firm foundation in his walk with the Lord at such a young age of 11. He carries himself with humbleness with a gentle spirit. His smile and hugs could warm anyone's heart. Every evening during God moments Jose's name would come up in conversation. These young people, especially Logan, learned so much from this young man. Logan could speak fluent Spanish and was able to learn so much about this young man while in Cedeno. He is fortunate to be able to go to a private Christian school in the next town where some of his days start at 3:30 am. This is mighty early some of us would say but God has blessed him with the means of getting a higher education than the sixth grade. His father is a pastor but by trade is a construction worker and provides well for his family. Jose is very fortunate to be able to go to school so getting up at 3:30 to go to school is not a burden to him, it is a pleasure and honor and privilege. So the next time a child or teenager complains about school or doesn't like school remember it is a blessing some children do not have in other countries. Amen y amen.
