First day of the project was what we call here a national holiday. It was Meida's birthday. we surprised Meida with a birthday cake. Mike and I left the project once we prayed over the first block. We told Meida we were going down the road to assess another project for later on. She smiled and said okay not knowing we were going to try to find a birthday cake. This was not an easy task. We went to three places before we found a birthday cake and "Happy Birthday" was in English. All I could do was laugh. We got back to the project just about time for the mid morning coke and we brought the birthday cake for our sweet and hard working Meida. She was definitely surprised and I asked her what she thought of the new project we found. She looked at me and smiled. I love it Mrs. Ginger. We are so blessed to have Meida on board with us and working beside us with the North Americans. She has been with us eight plus years. She definitely was our gift from God.
