Unloading the Kia

While Sr. Domingo was getting settled over in his hammock the team took the opportunity to unload the Kia and do some assessing about their day ahead.  Everyone on this team came with willing hearts to build this couple their home.  Can you imagine for eighty seven years not having your own home?  You have prayed all these years for a home and at the age of eighty seven God answered your prayer.  What an honor to be the chosen instruments to provide an answered prayer of many many years of faithful praying.  The church family of Domingo has helped them with their daily needs such as a warm meal everyday.  Now he has a home where he can eat his meals at daily.  Everything in our lives is all in God's timing not ours.  Would we be so patient to wait on God's answer to such a prayer as this, a home where Domingo and Marie can feel safe and also dry when the rainy season hits Honduras.   Domingo's life here is shorter than it has been but one thing for sure he has a dry and safe place to lay his head until he goes to his eternal with God.  Thank you so much Hopewell for being the hands and feet of Jesus this past week.
In Casey's devotional on the "Armor of God"  one of the attributes was the "Shield of Faith".  Casey shared how hard this is to have true faith in God.  He shared I only hope my faith is the size of a mustard seed.  Domingo had that faith we all desire to have in our daily lives.  He has been married forty two years to Marie and for at least forty two years he prayed continuously for this home.  God's provision is always to completion.  So today I hope you who are reading this have the faith of Domingo and know God answers all our prayers to His will and His timing.  Amen y amen!!!
