Hopewell Baptist Church returns to serve beside their Honduran brothers and sisters in Christ. We came upon rain pretty much over half of the travel time from the airport. We carefully made our way through the mountains as I prayed without ceasing for our travel safety. As I saw the Solar sign in the distance I knew we were almost home. Well I thought we were almost home. As we made the turn in to Pavana we had a quick and sudden stop as the river on the road to Mt. Horeb Ministry Camp had swelled and there was no passing through. We saw several folks try to do this but to no prevail failed at their efforts. People were crossing the swelled river up to their waste if not a little higher. We sat and waiting an hour and a half for the water to subside and go down low enough for us to cross. But Pastor Carlos came to the rescue with the Land Cruizer to take the North Americans to the ministry campus. Mike and I stayed behind to wait for the water to go down so the bus could get across. The Choluteca River has swollen from all the rain where the blue rock was completely covered. Through all of this God's work still continued through the muddy and slimy roads of Tapitoca where the team begins their project.
