Dr. Henry

This dental team brought along a specialist named Dr. Henry.  Dr. Henry is a periodontics.  This week he only extracted the patients teeth.  He had patients ages four to their mid eighties.  Dr. Henry had an assistant named Jonathan who is was mentoring this week.  Jonathan wants to be a dentist one day too.  Dr. Henry and Jonathan were an amazing team this week.  We do not want to leave out Alex their translator for the week.  The threesome did an amazing work for these people.  Dr. Henry would assess the situation and allow Jonathan to participate with the numbing of the mouth.  The patient would take his own personal tray of instruments and sit while waiting for their mouth to numb up.  There was a lot of young people with wisdom teeth trying to come through and could not get through because of other teeth blocking the way.  Susan, dental assistant shared she in all her years had not ever used up all the sutures  with a dental team.  Dr. Henry worked hard this week giving folks back a pain free mouth. These folks walk around with such pain in their mouths and cannot afford to get them fixed.  Thank you to Dr. Henry, Jonathan and Alex for making a big difference in their daily lives. 

Jonathan shared in his testimony one evening about how we should love one another unconditionally.  God first loved us so we could lover others by sending his one and only Son.  Jonathan set an amazing example for all of us to love each other.  We need to spread the love of Jesus all around us.  There could be someone who needs encouragement.  We need to be sensitive to their needs.  This love is only found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  By the way Jonathan is only nineteen years old and has a solid foundation built in Jesus Christ.   Jonathan shared about hearts as well.  He shared we do not want a hard heart and Jonathan showed his love all week for whoever needed encouragement.  He had a big smile on his face and a hug for whoever needed one.  Thank you Jonathan for setting the example of unconditional love for others.
