Karen with the help of Meida read the bible story for God's word, all God's people shouted AMEN.  This was so beautiful to see God's word opened and how Karen read the story with such enthusiasm as if the words were coming off the page.  She was reading about the story of Jesus making us fishers of men.  As the children entered and continued to enter Annika gave out a sticker for each and evey child.  The children were captivated by Karen's gift of sharing God's word through the children.

After the story they did a skit relating to the bible story.  Charity, Karen and Meida acted out the skit.  Charity was amazing.  She did a beautiful job acting out how confused we can be about becoming fishers of men.  She had a fishing pole with a coke on it, cheese its on it and some type of clothing on it.  She thought all these items could catch people for Jesus. Karen told her the only item which can truly catch people for Jesus is God's word.  We need to read God's word in order to become fishers of men to lead others to Christ and to grow in our own faith as fishers of men.  This was a great skit which caught the eyes and ears of all the children.

They did another activity on how to prayer for each other.  Annika drew out the hand and each finger represents who we need to pray for. One finger is to pray for our family, one is to pray for our church family, our community, one finger is to pray for our government, one finger is to pray for the sick and the last finger is to pray for the lost.   This was done by Lynn who worked and studied hard to provide this in Spanish for the children.  She almost did not need Meida.  But Meida was close by to assist her as needed.  Thank you for trying and working so hard Lynn for these beautiful children.
