We all gathered under the shed facing the front door of Mercedes new home. We kept her and family in the shade during the home dedication. We are so glad we did. She stood in front of Pastor Randy and Meida as Pastor Randy started sharing and was being grateful for this privilege to work beside her and her family this week to make all this happen. Pastor Randy shared how this house is now a home, a home where Jesus will live and reside each day. Her door will be Acts 4: Jesus is the cornerstone. When we prayed the first day over that first block, the cornerstone, we are now praying over the entire home, all 800 blocks are being lifted up to God today. We gathered around the house as Pastor Carlos prayed over the home.
We gathered back around and ask if anyone had anything they wanted to share. Several team members said thank you for such an amazing week of hospitality, good food and great fellowship. Mercedes started shaking and trembling as she tried to speak with tears flowing down her cheeks. So Pastor Randy continued as he presented her with her bible and key to her home. He read from Luke 6;46-48 as he closed the home dedication. Media helped Mercedes open the door to her new home because she was still trembling with joy and excitement. As she entered her home she stood in awe of what stood before her. The four walls, the two windows, a roof and two doors stood before her. This is something she had prayed for a long long time. Someone brought her a chair to sit in because she could not quit trembling. Finally she passed out. Her daughters knew exactly what to do for her and says she does this when she gets over whelmed. Well today Mercedes was overwhelmed and full of joy because God's provision is perfect.
