The team arrived to finish up what God had brought them to do build Mercedes and family a home. Mike and Joey with the supervision of Pastor Carlos got up on the roof. Pastor Randy, Tyler and Dalton and the Hondurans help pass the tin up to Mike and Joey. This area was tight where all the tin had to be passed from the same side. But without delay the job got completed with joyful hearts.
The first day as we circled up to pray to head out to the project, Brenda shows up in some very white tennis shoes. Everyone teased her about how they would not stay white for long. But Brenda surprised everyone, they were not snow white but she kept them wiped down daily and they turned out pretty good by the last day. Donna and Lynn got down on their knees to put rocks and more rocks into a water hole in front of the front door. Lynn proceeded to clean the door and soon after Lynn came Joey and Brenda to put on the final touches of the door. This team took such pride in Mercedes home. They treated this home as if it was their very own. Jesus was at work in this place. All God's people shout "AMEN".
