The evening upon their arrival to Mt. Horeb job duties were already assigned to the team prior to coming. So rumor had it Lynn was helping cook breakfast along with a very patient and loving friend named Donna. Coming down the mountain to Choluteca there was a discussion about who cooked at Lynn's house and it was not Lynn, just saying. So Mike thought he might better go check on his new friend Donna and her helper Lynn. Well Praise the Lord Mike went because our friend Lynn was just about to cook enough grits for an entire army. Thank you Mike for saving the day. But once Lynn learned how to cook grits Mr. Mike turned her loose the rest of the week. Thank you Lynn and Donna for getting up at 5 am each morning to prepare a very hardy and healthy breakfast for your church family.
While breakfast was being prepared Pastor Randy assigned our two younger gentlemen to load the Kia each day. Thank you goes to Tyler and his friend Dalton who was a first timer here to Honduras but not his last. He told me at the airport going on I will see you next year Mrs. Ginger. Tyler and Dalton worked hard helping Mike daily load and unload the Kia.
Pastor Randy and Joey made the sandwiches daily while Danielle and Rebecca made the Gatorade. Bernie and Brenda were in charge of the supper dishes nightly. It takes everyone to help a team get their day up and running. Everyone pulls their weight for the Kingdom work here in Honduras.
Each morning you could see God hard at work on Mt. Horeb as the mornings began smooth as clockwork and ended as well on an amazing note of teamwork.
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.
