There are so many blessings at Mt. Horeb. The first and most amazing is provided by God our Creator and Sustainer. The most glorious sunsets. The second evening the team climbed the rock at the entrance of Mt. Horeb to take in an amazingly breathtaking sunset. The orange sky slowly turned red, a flaming red fire covered the sky as it set behind the majestic mountians which are all created by God. All of this beauty around us God formed with his very own being. He has blessed us each day with the beauty of the skies surrounding us with the mountains. What a blessing to set here each day and enjoy the birds singing, making their very own homes in on power poles, flying south until next year which means the rain has gone until next summer, June maybe.
Some man made entertainment is our game of corn hole. Each evening one of our team members takes on another with a competitive game of corn hole. Dr. Henry took on a game with Rudy which Dr. Henry said he must practice a lot in the dark because they were playing by the bathroom light and Rudy was really good at this sport. Jonathan and Rebecca took on one another one evening waiting for supper to be served. Everyone either enjoys playing the game or cheering their favorite opponent on to victory. Of course the front porch of the Pulperia and gift shop is a favorite sport to share and discuss their day with their new friends of Pavana. A nice cold soda and a bag of chips and some amazing pre God moments goes along way on this little "L" shape porch. Thank you God for all your beautiful setting amongs Mt.Horeb.
