Now To Set Up

As all furniture and other items were put into place now was the time to sort our what goes where and why.  Ms. Becky waited every so patiently for what she needed to do to best help her team.  Mike was helping get the equipment up and running with his mechanical gifts from God.  Miriam our dentist collected her needed supplies for her station with the help of her assistant Melissa.  Please remember these folks truly did not know each other personally. Miriam is not from the Jacksonville area but was called by God to join this team.  We have been so blessed to have her on board with the Jacksonville dentists.  Dayana of course jumped in there like the energize bunny and got the instrument table ready to go with the assistance of Ms. Becky.  Jim was there to do whatever the dentist needed of his also very awesome mechanical skills.  Mike was excited to have another gentleman with mechanical skills this year to help him out.  Donna also new and is from Maryland joined the team because she got work through social media.  So God can use all means to bring a team together.  So know when you see all this hard work so of them do not know each other at this point of their mission trip.  They were not able to attend team meetings but were informed in other means before coming together at the airport on Saturday. Donna drove eight hours on Friday to join them at the airport on Saturday morning.  There was a lot of strong commitments on this group to get this team to become one in the name of Jesus.

Mike sent Edwin across the street to purchase water bags, a Honduras way of a water bottle but in a bag.  I honestly can say I have been here eight years and have finally learned how to drink ice cold water out of a bag.  I looked around the room and these North Americans were biting the corners out of the bag and sucking down their most delicious ice cold water bag.  Everyone was enjoying the refreshment of their afternoon. Then back to work they went focusing on their task at hand getting this clinic set up before sunset.

There was relationships being built as well along with all the hard work.  Jim and Ms. Becky were sharing about their love for Jesus I am very sure.  These two folks radiate Jesus Christ in their words, their smiles and their actions.  Ms. Alice was busy getting to know the young people on our team, Rebecca and Jonathan.  As well as we all know Ms. Alice I am sure she was talking about Jesus and learning all she can about her new found friend, Rebecca and catching up with her friend Jonathan since last year.  Because Jonathan is not from Jacksonville either.  As I looked out the door there sat the pastor's brother basting on what was taking place around him.  He was the one sharing with Mike about this was their first time in Pavana they had a dental brigade and they were grateful to God their church could provide this for their community.
