Loading Up and Unloading

After lunch everyone jumped on board to load up the dental chairs and the new and improved dental seats for the dentist to work from.  The team was able to put everything into one Kia except for the generator and compressor and they rode separately.  I sat back and took it all in how everyone came together and worked until every last piece of luggage was on board.  Also at the airport on Saturday the skycap told us the team was missing 5 to 6 pieces of luggage so Mike and I started strategizing what we would do if any of these pieces of luggage were the dental materials for the clinic this week.  Well as they came strolling out of the back of their airport there was 24 pieces of luggage with twelve beautiful smiles behind them.  So we never take for granted when we get all the luggage especially for medical and dental teams.  This is a huge God moment when we were able to load up the truck with all the needed materials for a dental clinic.  I praised God once I realized our friendly skycap had the wrong team.  I am sorry for the other team but grateful to God for our team's provision on Saturday morning.

They arrived at the church with eager church members ready to unload the truck full of the supplies for the week.  As I entered the church a lady was busy mopping up the floor before the arrival of the team.  Ms. Alice made her way to the stage as she prepared her agenda for the week ahead, Not knowing what God had in store for her on Monday morning.  Please join me on this amazing journey of being flexible and ready to do whatever God has called you to do.

As Ms. Alice worked on her materials for the week, the team proceeded to unload all the luggage, tables, dental chairs, dental seats, compressor and generator.  Everyone was busy at work unloading and hauling the necessary items to make this become a dental clinic.  Once again I got out of the way and observed all this ciaos come together as only God could perform.  Ms. Becky with a bad knee was bringing in tables and chairs. She shared it is only my knee not the rest of me.  She had a willing heart for such a very young godly lady.  They would gather and discuss a few minutes and off to work again.  Later on I would see them gathering together again hashing out some more small but important details so this week would run as smoothly as possible with what they had to work with and from.  Dr. John and Dr. Henry were pleased as every table every dental chair and seat were being placed ever so precisely into their places preparing them for their work ahead.  The suction machines were getting lined up and chords being taped down to the floor in order for protection and proper care for who would enter the front door of this community church.  One of the church members shared with Mike this is the first time this community of Pavana had ever had a dental brigade come and they were forever grateful for this opportunity. The church members worked so hard to provide all the comforts for the team they could possibly provide.
