Mike Uno and Mike Dos taught a lesson in Block 101 to this brand new team. They paired up with a partner and off they went building the Perez family a home. This was a first for a lot of our folks and I was so impressed with their dedication, not to man but to their Lord. Gloria said she came here to build this family a home and she prayed hard all week for God to give her the strength to do just that. The first few course were slow going but once this group got their rhythm going they were off and running. They were late getting their the first day due to a protest and the traffic was backed up for about an hour. But no worries they got there and got caught up by time to go home that afternoon and even had time to meet and play with some of the children. They were told by team leader, Mike, who are here to build a home but most importantly you are here to build relationship with the community and with one another. This turned out to be a very balance week of a little of everything for the Kingdom of God.
