VBS

The last three days the ladies, Amanda, Robin and Rosemary made their way down the hill to Las Uvas Baptist Church with Tino and Meida.  Robin reached out to everyone who walked through the church doors with her bubbly and loving personality.  Amanda with her sweet laughter was also contagious with the children.  Rosemary blessed us each day by acting out the bible stories as she told them to the children.  She had the full attention of each and every set of brown eyes in that church each day.  The children colored a picture relating to the bible story each day along with a craft.  They told David and Goliath, Daniel and the Lion's Den and the story of salvation on the last day.  They got to make a stain glass plate which was absolutely gorgeous and the men were able to come this day to help with such an intense craft.  Robin shared how much they enjoyed taking their time and doing their best on this one craft.  One day they made angel necklaces and they were all wearing them at the project the next day.  These children love love VBS because they do not get it very often.  Coloring sheets and crafts are not a weekly activity for these children. So thank you so much ladies for putting so much time and effort into making about 60 children very happy. I am pretty sure there are a lot of stain glass plates hanging in a lot of adobe homes today as they will remember those North Americans who came to build Rudy a home and share the love of Jesus with them as well.
