Mark, team leader, comes back again for about his 8th trip to Honduras to serve his Lord. This year he brought back some old friends, David, Dexter, Diane and Terry. But we had some new friends jump on board Jerry, Jarod and Chris. They all represent two different churches but came together as one this week and became a family. They all pitched in immediately with their different job assignments. We are forever grateful to Diane and Jarod who got up each morning at five am to prepare breakfast for their team. Cute story by the fourth day they had the breakfast prep under control where they were able to stand on the back porch of the kitchen and watch the sunrise behind the mountains. They took time to be still and enjoy God's beautiful creation. Terry assisted Mark daily in the making of the sandwiches for their team mates. David was up there as early as Diane and Jarod making the Gatorade and water daily. Down the hill after breakfast, Dexter, Christ, Jerry and Jarod loaded the Kia for Pastor Carlos and Mike. Everyone was willing and able to pitch in to head out each day to many many blessings. Before heading out Mark shared a devotional and had someone pray up their journey ahead. Great start to a great day each and every day.
