Construction Brings Along Evangelism

This week the team took one morning when things were slowing down and about five of them went out door to door evangelism.  Pastor Brian, Tracey, Sandra, Steve and Papa Joe along with Maida went visiting the neighbors and other folks in the community.  They shared about one visit where the entire family knew Christ and heard some sweet testimonies of their walk with the Lord.
The second visit was not quiet as sweet at first.  The lady of the house did not know Christ as her Lord and Savior nor her daughter.  After listening to Marie and Maida talking for fifteen minutes back and forth, Maida finally shared Marie did not feel worthy to receive Christ.  The North Americans shared none of us are worthy of the greatest gift of life, Jesus.  This is why it is so special because God sent His Son who died on the cross for all of us so we can have eternal life one day in heaven with God and His Son.  After a while of sharing both Marie and her daughter received the best gift of their lifetime, Jesus.  And they also met a lovely seasoned lady named Santos who received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.  She shared she could not read but her grandchildren can read the bible to her.  Each person received a bible so they could continue to learn all they can about their new life in Christ.  Also over at the melon fields Joe and Papa Joe shared the gospel with the melon workers.  A lot of them were believers and appreciated Joe and Papa Joe taking the time to share and talk with them.  Jose always looks for a chance to share the gospel with someone each and every week.  This week was not any different.  God had three new children come into his flock this week because a construction team took their week up a level and shared the gospel with others.  It is more than building a house it is building the kingdom that is most important.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life."
John 3:16
