Welcome back the adult team of First Baptist Church of Southern Pines. Two years ago they were able to build a home in Poverner, Las Cabasas, Choluteca, Honduras. This year they were able to come back and be the third and last team to build these sweet people a church. They traveled down miles of a muddy road to get out of the bus and walk through paths to get to the job site where the structure of the church stood. Team leader, Joy and Mike assessed the situation before starting the introductions and greetings to the two groups. Everyone gathered in front of the church to welcome and Joy introduced her team while the Hondurans introduced themselves and thanked God for this team coming today to finish the project which was structurally started back in July. Juan, the gentleman who sold the property for the church to the community shared this was an answered to a prayer. He hope to see this happen before he went home to be with the Lord. Glenda thanked God for the North Americans coming here to help complete the job. We all gathered our hands together as Pastor Carlos led the opening prayer.
