The second team Justin had the blessing of working with was our friends from Oakdale Baptist Church. They were an evangelism team. Justin shared how this was definitely out of his comfort zone but he was willing to go where God had called him to go and this week he was going evangelizing. He got placed with an awesome godly couple Thomas and Kaye. They are faithful servants of the Lord and Justin got trained well on how to go door to door evangelizing. They stayed on the dirt roads all morning as they went to the homes God had called them to visit. Justin got the opportunity one day to pray with a lady whose home they were visiting. Justin shared his God moment one of many that week was seeing an older lady come to Christ. How she almost missed out on the greatest gift of all Jesus Christ. But God sent Thomas, Kaye, Spencer and Justin to her home that day and she received Jesus Christ. Justin witnessed folks saying no as well as his team shared the plan of salvation through using the Roman Road and other tools of evangelizing. Justin got well equipped in how to share the gospel so now he can go and share Jesus with others. As everyone always says here it is easier to share the gospel in Honduras than back home. The people here are welcoming and want to hear what these strange looking North Americans have to say. We are strangers here with a different language and skin color but they receive us with open arms and welcome us into their homes to hear about this man called Jesus.
