Justin's Internship

Mike and I want to welcome and thank Justin for completing his second summer with North Carolina Baptist Men of Honduras.  Three years ago Justin shared a devotional one evening with his home church team New Hope Baptist of Raleigh and I shared with Mike and Pastor Brian what an in depth of knowledge for God's Word.  We need him to come and share this with other teams and so started our process for bringing in interns for the summer at Mt. Horeb.
Every  time Justin shares from God's Word he shares from his heart and he allows the Holy Spirit to speak through him.  He says he wants to go into politics one day and yes he will be a very good politician.  But he is also amazing when sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.  So maybe there is a half way place where he can share in the political world and work the Word into it as well.  Solo digo.  When he shared at his home team's dedication service he spoke profoundly out of Deuteronomy 28:6.  He shared a part of a blessing of obedience to God is that the Christian is blessed daily in his work whatever it is, school, jobs and whatever God has called you to do.  Christians are blessed with the knowledge of God's love.  But the way he shared these words were profound and with much feeling.  Also he was asked one evening to do a devotional for one of the three teams he worked with while here. Once again he shared from the bottom of his heart about his love for his Lord and Savior.  So Justin only God knows the plans he has for you and whatever it is you will be amazing at it because your passion for Honduras was evident in your time of sharing in God's word.
Justin was able to spend one month with us and assisted with three different teams.
Thank you Justin for all you did in the name of Jesus.
Now let's see what Justin did for Jesus while serving at Mt. Horeb.

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11
