Miss Lassie does not know she is a dog. She has the gift of hospitality and shares it with everyone. She does it with a lot of motives and wanting something in return. She needs constant rubbing and loving from whoever is available. It does not take her long to figure out who to go to and get the necessary love she requires. The one who she loves the most is her Daddy, Mike. She grieves his absence. As you can see she thinks one of those chairs is hers during our devotionals and we have to gently ask her to get down so a human can have the sit. She is one spoiled girl but is loved by all who come to Mt. Horeb. We are blessed to have such a loving four legged friend. But when it is time to go to work she can quickly switch gears. The team one evening was working on worship service and was still at the multi purpose building and Lassie was with them hanging out. All of a sudden she started her ferocious bark and scared several of the young ladies but once they realized she heard Wilmer at the bottom of the hill securing the gate they continued their preparations for Sunday morning. Good girl Lassie. Job well done.
