The serious players arrived early to get ready for the big event on Mt. Horeb, the Honduran baseball game. Justin instructed Mason exactly where the bases needed to go on the field. The others were throwing and warming up preparing for the afternoon of sheer entertainment.
At Mt. Horeb we even have our very own mascots who cheer all games to victory. Let's us introduce our very own Lassie and Oso. They are like a half time entertainment if you so desire.
Everyone is a winner in Honduran baseball, even you do not know how to play.
Then we get the professionals on the field who can slam the ball over the fence. Good job Wuilmer and Mr. Mike. Or those of us who play the sport on a regular basis.
Everyone I mean everyone is great at Honduran baseball. John Scott made it this year totally all body parts in tact. Good job John Scott.
Well Mr. Mike and Justin took it to another level along with Lassie assisting. Mr. Mike hit it way out into center field and started walking his bases as he always does. Justin gets the ball as Mr. Mike is rounding third base in his slow stance. Here comes Justin running full force along beside Lassie chasing after Mr. Mike. Mr. Mike the older gentleman that he is made it home safely. Followed by Lassie and Justin. We have too much fun with Honduran baseball.
As the game continues Justin just about took out his dad with a throw not knowing Brian was bending down to pick up a bat as Tyler is coming into home. Praise God no casualty this year with the New Hope Honduran Baseball game. Without saying we had some beautiful cheerleaders on the side lines cheering both teams to victory. Because in Honduran baseball everyone wins.
