The Last Leg

The group loaded up for yet one more day of hard manual labor for Jesus.  As you can see all the smiles this was a group full of joy for the glory of our Lord and Savior.  They arrived ready to go to work.  Pastor Carlos and Hondurans were blessed as well with the amount of hard work.  It gave them a chance to sit back and have a time of laughter as well.

Let the bucket brigade began.  There is several blogs of how many people it took to do this task.  They had to carry the mud for the floor in with five gallon buckets.  Each person lined up as the mud was filled into their buckets.  Pastor Carlos, Moses and Cristobal were smoothing out the piles of mud to a smooth finish.  These young people never stopped serving the Lord.  This was a tight work site so the buckets were our only options.  God provided many buckets and a lot of willing hands and feet to get the job completed.

More and more buckets continued to go into the house.  Mr. Mike and friends mixed the mud and loaded the buckets continuously. Sarah with the beautiful smile above prayed before we headed out that morning for the floor to get finished by lunch time so everyone could go to VBS. I shared that would be a huge miracle and that it was a huge miracle for sure.  Sarah's prayer was answered.

Final touches and the floor was complete with a lot of hard work from a whole bunch of folks.  The continue flow of the buckets and the smoothing of the boards over the mud brought to completion one more step into this house becoming a beautiful home.  What a joy to watch this all transform so quickly so the entire team could go to what they came here for to build on more relationships with these beautiful people and children.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
1 John 5:14
