Mt. Horeb has so many beautiful traditons itself. We start each day praying before leaving for the job site. We pray twice before we leave Mt. Horeb. The teams either gather around the on the road or up on the porch. The first morning several of us was taken back by our new friend Cody who turned 19 on Tuesday while in Honduras. He presented the most inspiring prayer from the power of the Holy Spirit. He gave God all the glory for the week ahead and praised HIM for all the many blessings thus far on this journey in Honduras. Cody sat the presence of what the week was going to be like for this team spiritually. Thank you God for having such an amazing relationship with your Lord and Savior at such a young age.
Mt. Horeb's grandeur is breathtaking if we only take the time to enjoy it. The early morning sunrises as you walked up the hill to make the sandwiches. The afternoon rain clouds are they would form around Mt. Horeb. The gorgeous sunsets each day around supper time. It is hard to decide whether to go and eat the delicious meals or sit on the porch and watch the sunsets. Please do not forget our two babies who entertain us on a daily basis with their presence, Lassie and Oso. They also work very hard to protect Mt. Horeb as well as keep everyone in stitches. God has truly blessed this ministry here in Honduras. Thank you God for all these blessings.
