VBS

These folks from Oakdale Baptist Church take VBS to another level.  Team leader Kaye delegates five different days with four different stations daily.  They were forever blessed by our translator, Meida who led in music each day as the children arrived for their afternoon of learning about Jesus.

The first day was The Relationship begins which was the story of creation, the second day was The Relationship Broken the story of Adam and Eve, the third day The Restoration Promised was the story of Simeon and Anna, the fourth day was The Relationship Restored, the story of Jesus Death and Resurrection and the last day was The Relationship Continues with the story of Peter and the fisherman.  Each day there was a coloring sheet, a craft which was always centered around a star.  A star was their theme for the week.  Steven, Spencer and Justin took one station to the outside of the church where they played organized sports with them with the help of Hector and Carlos.

This group goes into a lot of prep work to pull this week off.  Team leader, Kaye says they plan for this nine months out of the year.  It is very obvious in all they come prepared to do and how well orchrastrtaed the week turns out.  It truly makes an easy week for Meida.  All she has to do is speak their words.  God is good.  Thank you Kaye and team for all your hard work for these beautiful children.
